Why B2B marketing? We share our guide to mastering digital customer acquisition

Since 2021 I am part of the B2B services at Etribes. In the meantime, I can say from my own project experience: that with B2B, the focus is really on details & perseverance!

Our customers often deal with questions such as: “Why is B2B (online) marketing important for us now? Why is B2B e-commerce important for us? It worked out quite well for us in the future…”

CREATING THE FUNNEL: MARKETING TO SALES

DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION, CUSTOMER-CENTRICITY & MARKETING: Particularly in the B2B sector, there are often more touchpoints with customers in the customer journey than in B2C — especially after-sales services. The use of modern marketing tools enables our clients to put their customers in the center of attention and to respond to their wishes in a more targeted way.

DIGITAL STRATEGY, VISION TO EXPAND SALES & RENTABILITY: Medium-sized (family) companies think in terms of years, not quarterly reports. At the core of this building block is the development of a long-term corporate strategy, on the basis of which “big tickets”, i.e. digital initiatives, are derived.

THE GROUNDWORK: WHAT IS THE BASE FOR DIGITAL B2B MARKETING?

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Processes, structures, and work steps change, and not just since the pandemic. Therefore, employees must be regularly picked up to motivate them and work together toward the digital vision.

AGILE WORKING METHOD & MODERN IT STRUCTURE: Digitization also means raising efficiency potential with the use of software solutions (digitization of incoming invoices, personnel files, etc.).

MIND THE DISRUPTION BY NEW COMPETITORS: New competitors can be identified through targeted market and customer analyses. Often, new competitors not only appear in geographic proximity but come from other industries (Google vs VW).
